Don Gayler was admitted to practice as a solicitor in January, 1979.
He has practised in a variety of areas of law including Criminal Law, Property Law, Commercial Law, Commercial and Retail Leasing, Family Law and Wills and Estate law.
Don brings a wealth of experience from his years of practice as a solicitor but above all he brings common sense in large measure, an ability to be practical in the application of the law and worldly experience along with his grey hair.
Don has been a Deputy President of the Woodford Correctional Centre – Parole Board and the Deputy Chairman of the Wide Bay – Burnett Electricity Board. His experience is broad and he knows how to deal with people at all levels in all circumstances. Steadiness of purpose and resolve are key traits of his character.
All of his experience makes for the delivery of common sense and practical outcomes for those who seek is advice in his chosen areas of practice.
Don’s advice will be direct and to the point and it might not always be what clients want to hear, but the advice will always be given in the best interests of clients to achieve the best outcome for clients. Of that there will be no room for argument.
Don understands the need for not only practical outcomes for legal issues and problems but more importantly the delivery of cost effective legal solutions so that you not only end up with sensible and realistic outcomes but one that is the greatest value for your money.
Don’s experience tells him that the collaborative approach to resolving issues, particularly family and property matters is likely to provide the best outcome for his clients. He understands that the collaborative approach to resolving matters will not suit everyone. This is where the value of experience comes in – Don in consultation with Lesley will be able to determine quickly if the collaborative approach will work for you. If it won’t then they will let you know and discuss other options with you.
Don works to have happy clients, who retain their dignity and preserve their assets in what he knows is a difficult time for clients suffering family and property issues.
